The seeds from the celery plant are ground and mixed with natural sea salt to create this aromatic seasoning. Used heavily in Cajun and Creole cooking, and to flavor soups - especially chicken. Essential to a Bloody Mary cocktail, and a key ingredient of "Old Bay" style seasonings.
